Beaches
An area of outstanding natural beauty, the North Norfolk Coast has lots to explore. The sandy beaches of Holkham, Brancaster and Wells-next-the-Sea are perfect for long walks or discover the unusual habitats on the salt marshes of Stiffkey.
For those wishing to sail, the nearby harbours at Brancaster Staithe and Burnham Overy Staithe are ideal.
There are also plenty of locations popular with windsurfers and kitesurfers.
Birdwatching
With some of the UK’s best Birdwatching on your doorstop visit one of the RSPB sites at Cley or Titchwell. Regular spots include Barn and Tawny Owl, Marsh Harrier, Kingfisher and plenty of Wading Birds.

Days Out
If you fancy some culture and history there are several stately homes in the area including, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, Felbrigg and Blickling and the Queen’s Residence at Sandringham.
For the Children there is plenty to see and do including the Sea Life Centre and Seal Sanctuary at Hunstanton, The Wells to Walsingham Model Railway a local bowling alley and cinemas.
Golf
For those looking for Golf, there are several good courses nearby including the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club at Brancaster, Fakenham Golf Club (9 hole) and Swaffham Golf Club.
Shopping
Pick up groceries in the nearby village of Burnham Market and browse the smart Boutiques that have led this village to be named ‘Chelsea on Sea’.
Supermarkets can be found in Fakenham and the beautiful market town of Holt is definitely worth a trip.
Eating Out
Norfolk can boast an array of Pubs and restaurants serving some of the finest local produce and seafood.
